Kat and I had some time off in June last year, so we decided to take a trip up to Blackpool.
Kat’s only previous experience of the northern seaside was a one-day trip to visit to the local university circa 2008, but her impression was strongly tainted by the grimness of the weather. So it was only appropriate that the weather was unseasonably grim for our entire visit. Blackpool tower was obscured by fog for the whole of the first day, and we were repeatedly soaked on the second.
This was taken on the third and final day of our trip, while the wind battled to blow us off the pier.
